Video: Ukrainian Forces Shell Shebekino

On the night of July 8, Ukrainian forces shelled Shebekino in Russia's Belgorod region using Grad multiple rocket launchers. One of the shells landed in the area of the central market, igniting a fire. The bombardment resulted in a fire in the central market area. Following the explosions, a vegetable storage facility and a vehicle were also set ablaze.

According to preliminary data, no one was injured. Emergency services have arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack. It is also worth noting that on the morning of July 8, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that following the nighttime bombardments, authorities have decided to suspend the return of residents to the city and have declared days off for construction workers.

“After the nighttime events in Shebekino, we decided to declare two days off for our construction workers who are engaged in the city's restoration. And we will temporarily suspend the return of residents from temporary shelters,” Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
