Armenia Officially Recognizes Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity, Says Aliyev
In October of last year, Armenia officially recognized Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, and last month even specified the parameters of our country's territory. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“These statements should also be on paper, and Armenia must sign them. Only then can long-term peace prevail in the South Caucasus,” he said.
Aliyev emphasized that other important conditions include the opening of the Zangezur corridor and the withdrawal of Armenian forces from Nagorno-Karabakh. “We are not in a hurry; there is no need for that. Currently, the strength, time, and international law are on our side. The international community unequivocally recognizes that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. We can still wait,” Ilham Aliyev noted.
