A Record Historic High for Job Positions Noted, Says Nikol Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, announced that a new historic high for registered and taxable job positions has been recorded in Armenia.
“According to the results for May, we have 718,266 registered job positions, and we can note that since May 2018, a total of 170,277 job positions have been created in Armenia. Furthermore, compared to last May and April, we also see growth,” he stated.
According to Pashinyan, there has been a significant increase in the salary fund as well. The salary fund in Armenia has doubled compared to May 2018, showing an increase of 106.6% or 103 billion 40 million drams. Against the same period, the average salary in Armenia increased by 101,629 drams or 57.6%. “Salaries in Armenia continue to rise, notably outpacing inflation rates,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
