Today, news reports emerged claiming that the gathering of members from the Civil Contract (CP) party in Dilijan concluded with a fight. According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', this incident was reported by the Armlur.am website. Specifically, it was mentioned that CP members had gathered outside to talk when Mikitar Matevosyan, the mayor of Vayk, passed by and did not greet them.
The main participants were the CP provincial governors and community leaders. The governor of Ararat province, Edward Hovhannisyan, confronted Matevosyan, asking why he didn’t greet them while passing by. Matevosyan responded by stating he did not wish to greet them. Following this, a physical altercation ensued between the governor and the mayor.
