U.S. President Joseph Biden has announced plans to construct a railway "from the Pacific Ocean to the Indian Ocean," a statement that has drawn social media ridicule.

The U.S. is reportedly aiming to build a "railway" spanning from the Pacific Ocean to the Indian Ocean, according to the American leader during an annual dinner with his environmental voters, as reported by Fox News.

In the same speech, he also discussed the idea of building one of the world's largest solar power plants in Angola.

His remarks quickly spread across social media, with one Twitter user (blocked in Russia) sarcastically referring to Biden’s proposal as the "ocean train."
