VIDEO: The Meeting Between Pashinyan and Putin in Sochi
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan raised the issue of the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In particular, during the bilateral negotiations, Pashinyan noted that they are preparing to discuss a wide range of issues, as well as the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. He reminded that the supply of food products to Nagorno-Karabakh is carried out with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers, while the humanitarian crisis there continues.
Pashinyan also expects to discuss the situation in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh with President Putin. “We meet regularly and discuss a wide range of issues. Today we will discuss the bilateral agenda and regional matters. I believe we will also address the current situation in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh. Unfortunately, the humanitarian situation there remains tense,” Pashinyan said.
