Situation in Artsakh: It's Ruben Vartanian's Turn
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "Despite the deepening crisis, the internal political developments in Artsakh have entered an active phase. Today, on May 18, former Prime Minister Ruben Vartanian will hold a press conference to announce a new front.
Recently, we wrote that with Vartanian's initiative and the participation of four parliamentary forces, a 'Program for the Salvation of Artsakh' has been developed, which was presented to the Security Council and the President a month ago. During the rally on May 9, Vartanian presented an ultimatum to Harutyunyan: either implement the program, or we will carry it out ourselves.
Four other activists will also participate in the press conference; however, representatives of the parliamentary forces will not be present, firstly because the parliamentary sessions are starting today, and secondly to avoid the impression that it is the launch of a new political coalition."
