Ukrainian Forces Begin Preparations for Counteroffensive: CNN

Ukrainian forces have begun preparations for a counteroffensive, two senior Western military officials have informed CNN.

The preparations involve striking targets such as weapons depots, command centers, armored vehicles, and artillery systems, aimed at preparing the battlefield for an offensive. This is standard procedure employed before major combined operations.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky stated that Ukraine needs "a little more time" before starting the counteroffensive, to ensure that promised Western military aid reaches the country.
