We Welcome the Progress in Negotiations Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Sullivan
The United States welcomes the progress made by Armenia and Azerbaijan in their negotiations and encourages ongoing dialogue. This was stated by Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, in a tweet on his microblog.
“I was pleased to host Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov today at the White House. We welcome the progress of Armenia and Azerbaijan in negotiations and encourage continued dialogue. A sustainable and just agreement will be the key to unlocking opportunities for both countries and the region,” wrote Sullivan.
It is noteworthy that on May 3, a trilateral meeting was held in Washington, D.C. between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
