Armenian National Assembly Refuses Joint Meeting with Artsakh Residents: 'Hraparak'
Today, the regular sessions of the parliament will begin, with only 16 items on the agenda, more than ten of which are presented for a second reading. This is reported by 'Hraparak'.
'This means that this session might not even last a day and a half, and the legislators could exhaust the agenda in a non-stop mode if the opposition does not participate. According to certain information, the authorities have intentionally shaped such an agenda. The recent undesirable developments surrounding Artsakh have concerned the representatives of the ruling party, and they fear public unrest, not wanting to make unnecessary statements that could inflame the general masses.'
'Incidentally, we learned from Artsakh sources that after the blockade, the legislative body of the Republic of Artsakh officially requested to hold at least online joint parliamentary commission meetings, but the leadership of the Armenian parliament has left those requests unanswered.'
