Armenia in Search of New Security Guarantees, Says National Security Secretary

Armenia is in a very difficult situation, as the security mechanisms that were supposed to protect us are currently ineffective. Armenia is now trying to find new guarantees and is in search of new security assurances. This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, during a broadcast on Public Television.

“Of course, we are accused of turning towards the West, but we are intensively cooperating with India. We are collaborating in various directions to address our security issues,” he said.

According to Grigoryan, the Russian Federation is not indicating at the political level that it cannot resolve security issues for Armenia.
