Some From the Civil Contract Party Will Provide Explanations to Law Enforcement: 'Joghour'

'Joghour' newspaper reports that the process concerning the election of the governing body of the 'Civil Contract' party is not suspended. According to the information from 'Joghour', law enforcement is continuing its internal investigation regarding the party's elections, and at some point, some members of the CPP will go to the authorities to provide explanations.

As is known, on November 4, the ruling party officially confirmed that the results of its governing body elections were miscounted, and based on a submitted request, a recount of the ballots was conducted. As a result, the ruling coalition's leader Hayk Konjoryan and Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan were excluded from the board, while new members of the board include MP Arsen Torosyan and Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan.

The announcement does not clarify who requested the recount (according to reports, it was Arsen Torosyan), whether the votes were falsified, or if negligence was involved, or if the issue of potential accountability has become a subject of discussion. Law enforcement is dealing with this matter.
