During the 2018-2023 period, the government of Armenia has invested 1.2 billion drams in the regions. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a government meeting.

“Such a scale of investment has never been made in the regions of Armenia,” said the Prime Minister.

The announcement was prompted by a new decision adopted during the government meeting, which allocated an additional 2 billion 729 million drams for co-financing 42 subvention programs implemented in 2020, 2021, and 2022 in 10 regions of Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan instructed government members and particularly the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, to follow up with lists to monitor the use of allocated funds and check the completed works.
