Tigran Avinyan on the Issue of Fourth Degree Emergency Buildings
Representatives of the Yerevan City Hall are set to meet with residents of fourth-degree emergency buildings located at Arzumanyan addresses 10 and 17 on April 25 and 26. The plan is to demolish these buildings and construct new ones to provide residents with new housing.
Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan has also noted that this is a pilot project that was initially planned back in September 2022.
“I want to express my satisfaction that we have found the right way to allocate the roles of residents, developers, and the Yerevan City Hall, along with the formula that makes it possible to implement the program. We have reached a sufficiently realistic and practical stage. This will serve as an example for the reconstruction of other fourth-degree emergency buildings in other locations. We will face different problems in various places, but I am confident we will find solutions,” said Avinyan.
According to Tigran Avinyan, further clarification will soon be provided regarding how the issues of other emergency buildings will be addressed and resolved.
