Who Will Participate in the Closed Session of the National Assembly

The "Armenia" faction has initiated a closed discussion in the parliament today, during which the situation at the borders will be addressed. In particular, the MPs will receive explanations from the executive regarding the recent border tensions in Syunik and Gegharkunik.

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" has learned that representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, who are knowledgeable about the border situation and can provide clarifications, will also participate in the closed discussion.

It is reminded that Azerbaijani military units opened fire on April 11 at around 16:00 toward Armenian soldiers engaged in engineering works in the Tegh community, prompting a response from the Armenian side.

At around 17:30, Azerbaijani military units used mortars. As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has reported 4 casualties and 6 injuries.
