Azerbaijan Demands Accurate Mine Maps from Armenia
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is demanding accurate mine maps from Armenia, citing that an Azerbaijani individual was injured due to a mine explosion. It has been noted that since 2020, the number of casualties from mine explosions has reached 290 people.
Azerbaijan insists on receiving the mine maps to prevent further loss of life among its citizens; however, it does not accept the demands presented by international courts and representatives from various countries, while also keeping the Lachin corridor closed.
