No Tangible Positional Changes at This Time: Andranik Kocharyan
When discussing the improvement of the border situation in the area of Tegh village, the talks refer to discussions that should lead to it. Currently, there are no tangible positional changes. Andranik Kocharyan, the head of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee, stated this during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly, in response to the question of whether the Azerbaijanis have withdrawn into Armenian territory around Tegh village. This was reported by NEWS.am.
“The contacts have inspired hope that there seems to be some understanding on certain issues. We must proceed from the fact that what is ours is ours. They must also understand that what is ours, they should work to stay away from, for the world is changing and the positions are changing too. There was a time when we had much worse positions, and we have improved them. I am not afraid of these things because positional changes will inevitably occur until the issues related to the border demarcation are settled,” he said.
