Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Again Accuses Armenia
The rhetoric of unfounded accusations against Armenia continues in Azerbaijan. This time, it is claimed that Armenia is "refusing to cooperate on mine clearance issues."
"Today marks International Mine Awareness Day. Those who lay landmines indiscriminately and refuse to cooperate on their clearance, including Armenia, must be held accountable. We must put an end to the significant human losses caused by these actions," stated Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs in a Twitter post on the occasion of International Mine Awareness Day.
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has declared that Armenia continues to place mines in Nagorno-Karabakh and refuses to engage in mine clearance efforts.
