Azerbaijan Issues Directives to 'Decisively Suppress Provocations'
Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has held a consultation during which he issued directives to 'decisively suppress provocations' in what he described as 'liberated territories' and 'new heights under control.'
According to Azerbaijani media, commenting on statements from those who do not reconcile with the Azerbaijani army’s 'successful operations,' the minister emphasized that 'no one has the right to speak to them in the language of threats.'
In the ministry's statement, Hasanov remarked that allegations of a defamatory nature against military personnel from countries that support terrorism and occupation policies are unacceptable and absurd. Essentially, his statement is a response to recent statements from the Iranian side.
The spokesperson for the Iranian diplomatic office, Nasser Kanani, had earlier stated that Israel is trying to turn Azerbaijan's territory into a threat to Iran's national security. Kanani also insisted that Tehran 'cannot remain indifferent to the conspiracies of the Zionist regime from the territory of Azerbaijan.'
