Preliminary Results of Municipal Elections in Sisian and Ani Communities Announced
The preliminary results of the extraordinary municipal elections held on March 26 in the Ani community of Shirak province and the Sisian community of Syunik province have been summarized by Electoral District Commissions No. 33 and 34. This was reported by the press service of the Central Electoral Commission.
Based on the data from 61 polling stations, the results are as follows:
- Ani community in Shirak province
"Alliance of Nation and Community" parties bloc - 3,134 votes
"Armenian Dream" party - 795 votes
"My Powerful Community" party - 744 votes
"Civil Contract" party - 5,180 votes - Sisian community in Syunik province
"Citizen’s Decision" Social-Democratic Party - 1,443 votes
Republican Party of Armenia - 2,553 votes
"Civil Contract" party - 7,325 votes
In the Sisian community, 49.63% of eligible voters participated, amounting to 11,356 out of 22,880 citizens. In the Ani community, participation was 62.01%, with 9,870 out of 15,918 eligible voters casting their ballots. Overall, a total of 54.71% of eligible voters participated in both communities, equating to 21,226 citizens.
