US Aggressive Tactics Will Have Consequences, Says Zakharova

The US authorities must understand that their aggressive tactics towards Russia will have consequences, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“Washington needs to consider the repercussions of its increasingly aggressive actions, which are fraught with a direct military confrontation with Russia and a repeated humiliating failure for the US, similar to the situations in Vietnam and Afghanistan,” the diplomat emphasized.

Zakharova made these comments in response to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's address regarding the issue of arming Kyiv. The Pentagon chief announced that over 150 Leopard tanks produced in Germany will be transferred to Ukraine, which has been committed to supply by a total of 9 Western countries. He added that, in addition, the number of states providing air defense means to Kyiv continues to grow.
