U.S. Ambassador Called to Russian Foreign Ministry
The U.S. Ambassador Lyn Tracy has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, where a note of protest was delivered regarding the expansion of U.S. involvement in military operations by Kyiv.
"Washington must take steps that involve the withdrawal of troops and equipment, as well as the cessation of hostile anti-Russian activities," stated officials at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In this regard, the Ambassador was informed of the ineffectiveness of the current aggressive course of the U.S. aimed at deepening confrontation with Russia in all directions. It was specifically emphasized that to defuse the situation, Washington should take measures that entail the withdrawal of American and NATO troops and equipment, as well as stopping hostile anti-Russian activities.
It should be noted that today, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the Federal Assembly, as announced by his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
