Gas Supply to Several Gas Stations in Armenia Will be Interrupted, says Gazprom Armenia
Due to a decrease in the daily volume of natural gas imported to Armenia, the gas supply to several gas stations will be temporarily interrupted starting from 11:00 AM on February 18. This was reported by Gazprom Armenia.
According to the company, “As of 16:00 on February 14, the gas pipeline 'North Caucasus-Transcaucasia' supplying Georgia and the Republic of Armenia was partially blocked in the Stavropol region of Russia.”
Considering the interruptions and insufficient quantities of natural gas imported from Russia, along with the technical conditions for gas extraction from the underground storage facility in Abovyan, Gazprom Armenia has decided to halt gas supply to several gas stations in order to prevent emergency situations and ensure reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to the remaining consumers.
It is noted that gas supply to other gas stations will continue. The list can be viewed here.
