Iran Expands Advanced Arms Supply to Russia, Says Mossad Chief
The head of Mossad, David Barnea, stated during a commemoration ceremony at the presidential residence in Jerusalem on Thursday that Iran is preparing to expand its supply of advanced weapons to Russia. This was reported by Vesti Israel.
Barnea also dedicated part of his speech to Iran's efforts to increase its nuclear capabilities. "We are warning through various channels about Iran's intentions regarding its nuclear program and uranium enrichment, as well as the Iranian regime's plans to escalate attacks against Israel from friendly Muslim countries in the region. We will not allow the Ayatollah regime to possess nuclear weapons. Not only in the coming years but ever. This is my commitment, this is the commitment of Mossad," he said.
The head of Israeli intelligence added that the organization is working to create alliances with countries in the Middle East and other Muslim states with which Israel has not yet formalized relations. According to him, this is being done to "increase the power that will enable effective and strong resistance to common challenges."
