Bayramov Travels to Moscow to Meet Lavrov
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has traveled to Moscow for a working visit. During this visit, a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is expected. We had previously reported that on December 23, negotiations would take place between the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lavrov and Bayramov.
Earlier, it was reported that a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan was scheduled for December 23 in Moscow; however, the Armenian side requested to postpone the meeting because the priority for Armenia's Foreign Minister at this time is addressing the unhindered reopening of the Lachin corridor and the challenges arising from the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.
