Baku's Response to Statements Made at the UN
Baku continues to deny the crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the ten-day blockade of the Lachin corridor, referring to statements made at the UN as 'false.'
This is stated in the official statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. The Azerbaijani agency has declared that it is 'deeply disappointing that some member states of the UN Security Council do not hesitate to display a biased and unilateral stance.'
'Especially concerning is the incorrect mention of a part of Azerbaijan's territory. We once again reiterate our call to the international community to persuade Armenia to respond to Azerbaijan’s proposal, cease political and military provocations, and abandon aggressive rhetoric and actions,' stated the Azerbaijani diplomatic office.
