Biden Currently Has No Plans to Visit Ukraine, White House
White House officials have stated that U.S. President Joe Biden currently has no plans to visit Ukraine. This information was reported by Politico.
"There are no plans to visit Kyiv at this time, mainly due to security-related risks," they said.
Earlier, Biden assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Washington’s priority is to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
The U.S. President also welcomed the Ukrainian leader’s readiness to achieve a "just peace."
It’s worth noting that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, as the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics requested assistance.
Combat operations in Ukraine have now been ongoing for 297 days.
