Azerbaijanis Open Fire on Citizens Conducting Agricultural Work in Artsakh

Azerbaijani army units have opened fire on citizens engaged in agricultural work. This was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On November 22, at 14:30, the head of the Sarushen community in the Askeran region submitted a report to the police station in Martuni about the incident. He stated that while conducting agricultural work in the Amaras valley located within the administrative territory of the village of Machkalashen, irregular gunfire was directed from Azerbaijani military positions towards agricultural land belonging to the Sarushen community, which forced the cessation of agricultural activities.

It is important to note that on the previous day, November 21, around 11:00, the adversary also opened fire on peaceful residents working in the same area, violating the ceasefire regime. There were no casualties among the civilian population. The Martuni police station has gathered the facts and transferred them to the peacekeeping forces.
