Azerbaijani Forces Open Fire on Civilians Working in Fields in Artsakh, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports
Azerbaijani military positions have opened fire on civilian individuals engaged in agricultural work. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh.
On November 16, at 14:30, a 36-year-old resident of the village of Sarushen in the Askeran region reported to the Martuni district police department that around 11:40, while working in agricultural lands belonging to the Sarushen community located in the Amaras valley, servicemen of the Azerbaijani army fired randomly from the adjacent military position towards the civilians working in the fields.
The agricultural work has been halted due to the violation of the ceasefire regime. No casualties among civilians have been reported. The police have informed the Russian peacekeeping forces about the incident and provided relevant materials. The Martuni district police department is conducting an investigation.
