Rockets Fall in Eastern Poland Near Ukraine Border, Casualties Reported

Two rockets have fallen into grain dryers in a village in eastern Poland, located near the border with Ukraine. This statement was made on Tuesday by Polish ZET radio, citing unofficial sources, as reported by TASS.

The incident occurred in the village of Przewodów in the Lublin Voivodeship. According to the radio station's information, two people have died. Police, prosecutors, and military personnel are present at the scene.

Poland's government spokesman, Piotr Müller, has stated that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has convened an emergency meeting of the government’s security and defense committee. As reported by ZET radio, the discussion revolves around the two rockets falling near the border with Ukraine in eastern Poland, with the ownership of the rockets not specified.

Information is circulating online that the rockets might be of Russian origin; however, according to Russian Telegram channels, the immediate target for Russia was infrastructure in the city of Kovel, Ukraine, located about 100 kilometers away from the incident.

“Russian precision rockets cannot have such a large deviation,” writes the Telegram channel Война с фейками.
