Turkey Expects Positive Steps from Armenia: Erdogan
“Turkey expects positive steps from Armenia in the region. Currently, we do not see sufficient steps from Yerevan towards the normalization of relations with Ankara and Baku,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated in a conversation with reporters.
“I cannot say that this phase has already passed. There are those in the diaspora working against this, and this negatively impacts the process. It is the Armenian leadership that will direct the process towards a positive direction. We are trying to befriend, not to gain enemies,” Erdogan added.
