Prime Minister Reports Number of Missing from First Nagorno-Karabakh War, 44-Day War, and September 13 Clashes
“The number of missing persons from the Armenian side in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War is 777, and from the 44-day war, it is 203. We even have missing individuals from September 13 to 16, whose bodies are in areas now under Azerbaijani control, and Azerbaijan is delaying their return to Armenia. Since 2020, the Armenian side has returned 130 bodies of missing persons from the first war to Azerbaijan,” stated the Prime Minister during a government meeting, adding that after the 44-day war, Armenia also provided Azerbaijan with maps of 7 regions containing minefields, but Azerbaijan has turned this into a subject of aggression and hostility.
