«We have not killed anyone there and do not intend to kill anyone». Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated in an interview with the American NBC company that he does not intend to get involved in military operations on Ukrainian territory, especially since Russia has not requested such an involvement from him.
“We have not killed anyone there and do not intend to kill anyone, firstly, no one is asking us to participate in this operation, in this case, Russia, and we do not intend to get involved in that. We have always talked about this and continue to talk about it, but apparently they do not want to listen to us,” Lukashenko said.
In response to a journalist's question about whether Belarus aims to participate in the Russian military operation, Lukashenko replied that he has repeatedly stated that his republic is supporting Russia in the special operation in every possible way. “Our support consists of ensuring that our borders with Poland and Lithuania are not violated, and that Russian troops do not receive a blow from the rear through Belarus,” Lukashenko emphasized.
