Red Cross Confirms: Azerbaijani Side Handed Over Soldier Bodies to Armenia
The Azerbaijani side has handed over the bodies of soldiers to the Armenian authorities. This was stated in an interview with the media by Zara Amatuni, the head of communication and prevention programs of the ICRC office in Armenia.
"The International Committee of the Red Cross participated in the corresponding actions as an intermediary, during which the Azerbaijani side transferred the bodies of soldiers to the Armenian authorities," she said, while not providing further details.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani media report that Azerbaijan has handed over another 6 bodies of Armenian servicemen to the Armenian side. On September 17, Armenia was handed over the bodies of 32 fallen soldiers.
