Breaking: Collision between Passenger Gazel and Opel on Ararat-Yerevan Route, 10 Injured

Today, September 19, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. At around 10:40 AM, on the 70 km stretch of the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway, a collision took place between an Opel and a passenger Gazel vehicle serving the Yerevan-Artick route.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 10 individuals with varying degrees of bodily injuries were transported to the 'Aparan' Medical Center. The first to provide assistance to the injured were bystanders and rescue workers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Aparan firefighting and rescue team, who arrived promptly.

Shamshyan reports that following the collision, both vehicles left the roadway and ended up in a field, with the Opel overturning.
