Shirak Regional Governor and His Daughter-in-Law Suggest Sending Opposition Protesters to the Front Line Without Weapons
The governor of Shirak, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, and her daughter-in-law, Ani Kocharyan, have proposed sending citizens who took to the streets demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister to the border. In particular, Ani Kocharyan wrote: "A group of traitorous individuals are roaming around Gyumri shouting and honking. What are they born from?" This prompted a response from Nazeli Baghdasaryan: "They have reached near our house; gather people to send this junta towards Jermuk." Ani Kocharyan added: "Yes, they should be sent to the border without weapons." It is noteworthy that yesterday the authorities had already threatened to send the citizens protesting against them to the front line. This was announced during a live broadcast on public television by MP Vahagn Aleksanyan.
