Red Berets are Kidnapping Residents of the Neighborhood: 'Fizgorodok Yerevan'

‘Fizgorodok Yerevan’ reports on its Facebook page: ‘Resident Karen Amirkhanyan has been taken into custody for unclear reasons while walking in the yard. Red beret police officers are chasing and kidnapping neighborhood residents. Armenian Police, on what grounds is the abduction of citizens being carried out?’

Previously, ‘Fizgorodok Yerevan’ had released another statement: ‘Under unclear circumstances, and after a 5-month hiatus, Ratko LLC has resumed construction work and is daily obstructing traffic in Fizgorodok by partially closing the only road into the neighborhood, creating an emergency situation. Since the morning, police from the Patrol Service have been present in the neighborhood responding to citizens’ calls.’

‘Yerevan City Hall, Ajapnyak Administrative District, residents’ safety is being compromised due to this construction, for which the direct responsible parties are under your roof. The monument-neighborhood continues to remain exclusively under the care of the citizens, not receiving the proper attention and care from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.’
