‘Armenia is Not a Foreign Country for Us, We Can Work in Yerevan’ - Putin
We welcome everything that is beneficial for Russian business. This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, commenting on the situation where Russian companies have decided to relocate to Armenia.
“If the conditions are such that it is convenient and profitable for people, who are mostly specialists in the IT sector, to work there, then, for God's sake, let them work. Armenia is not a foreign country for us; everything is next to us, and it is possible to work in Yerevan,” said the Russian president.
According to him, if it is currently more advantageous and convenient for Russians to work there, then there is nothing extraordinary about it. Moreover, many have already returned, realizing that nothing terrible is happening, and everything is functioning and operating despite the sanctions.
“It is possible to work in Yerevan and live in Moscow,” Putin added.
