The Extreme Condition of Yerevan's Transport

If during the summer vacation the public transport of Yerevan was showing signs of life, the situation has become critical in recent days as schoolchildren and students returned to their educational institutions.

The alternative to public transport are taxis, which, to say the least, are taking advantage of the situation.

In an interview with Sputnik Armenia, the president of the passenger transport association, Hrant Yeghiazaryan, stated that the public transport system has already collapsed, and this situation is worsening.
