Lavrov Denied Visa to Enter the U.S.
Fifty-six Russian diplomats preparing to participate in the discussions of the UN General Assembly in New York have had their entry visas to the U.S. denied, including Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to Reuters, in an official letter addressed to UN Secretary-General Nebenzia, it is stated that this situation is concerning, especially considering that over the past few months, U.S. authorities have systematically denied entry visas to several Russian delegates sent to participate in official UN events.
