What European Leaders Have Requested from Zelensky

The leaders of EU countries have made unsuccessful attempts to persuade Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the situation in the country through diplomatic means. This was stated in an interview with former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko for "Ukrainskaya Pravda".

“From Europe, I won’t name names, but groups of presidents and prime ministers arrived in Kyiv with the purpose of sending a single message to President Zelensky: ‘Sit at the table, and then we will understand what is what,’” Yushchenko said.

At the same time, the former president of Ukraine excluded the likelihood that Kyiv would agree to a diplomatic resolution of the situation.
