Charles Michel on Meeting with Pashinyan and Aliyev
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, has posted on his Twitter account regarding the meeting with Pashinyan and Aliyev. "The fourth meeting with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan has taken place in a constructive atmosphere. All issues were reviewed, and there is an agreement to intensify work on the peace treaty. The EU is ready to further amplify its efforts in this direction," he wrote.
It is noteworthy that on August 31, a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took place in Brussels, facilitated by Charles Michel, President of the EU Council.
