Video: Russian Foreign Ministry's Witty Statement on Drunken U.S. Embassy Employee
The Russian Foreign Ministry has mockingly commented on a video that surfaced online, showing a drunken employee of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow returning to the diplomatic mission's building early in the morning while the song 'In the Army Now' plays.
“We call on the State Department to provide additional pay to the employees of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow due to the unbearable working conditions. Our struggle against them is a tiring job,” the Foreign Ministry's statement said.
The video, filmed back in July, shows a man struggling to stand upright and continuously falling over. According to Russian media reports, the individual depicted in the video is Navarro Nicholas Storm, a former U.S. Navy sailor who is now a security employee at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
