Kyiv Not Ready to Enter Ceasefire Regime, Says Zelensky
The Ukrainian side is not inclined to stabilize the front line in order to somehow 'calm' the Russian Federation. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky while summarizing the results of the Crimea Platform summit.
In particular, he commented on the possibility of ending the war against Russia before winter. 'We understood the hints and signals that we should switch to a ceasefire regime and start talking with the Russian Federation. At this point, we are not ready for a ceasefire regime. We explained that there will be no Minsk-3, or Minsk-5, or Minsk-7. We are not playing those games; that is how we lost part of our territories,' Zelensky noted. According to him, if they stop now, Ukraine will be left without its southern part and several other areas.
