French Foreign Ministry on the Surmalu Explosion
France's Foreign Ministry has expressed its solidarity with Armenia following the tragic events at the Surmalu shopping center.
“France expresses its solidarity with Armenia on the first day of national mourning declared after the explosion at the shopping center in Yerevan on August 14,” the statement said.
“France offers its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a swift recovery to those injured. It commends the dedication of the rescuers who continue to search for the missing,” the French Foreign Ministry's statement added.
