On August 10, authorities announced that a soldier serving in the military has died. He was killed by a shot from his assigned rifle, which struck his heart, causing injuries incompatible with life, reports Mediahub.am.

It has been revealed that the soldier was Private Erik Gharsayan, the son of actress Masha Uzunyan. Erik was just nineteen years old. Masha Uzunyan's colleague, Arshak Semirjyan, reflected on his tragic death on his platform, writing, “Masha jan, I am sorry for the loss of your only son, who was killed on August 9. My heart is aching. I have known Erik since he was a child. He grew up before my eyes and turned 19, and now he is no more.
