Russia Considers Criticism Against Peacekeepers Unfounded
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ivan Nechaev, stated in a press briefing that the Russian side considers the critical statements directed at peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh to be unfounded.
“Both Baku and Yerevan have repeatedly emphasized the important role of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. We consider the specific criticism directed at the peacekeepers to be unjustified. For additional details, we suggest contacting the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation,” he noted.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry representative, the situation in the region is under Moscow's close attention.
