Revealed Who is the Beneficiary Building a Luxurious Villa on the Shores of Sevan

The newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" reports: "A new luxurious villa is being built on the shores of Lake Sevan during the rule of Nikol Pashinyan. Although the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia and the 'Sevan' National Park are carefully concealing the owner, the newspaper has uncovered their identity.

The owner of the villa is Arman Hakobjan, chairman of the board of the 'Kapavor' LLC, and son of the former Minister of Urban Development of Artsakh.

Of course, on November 29, 2018, Nikol Pashinyan announced that 'one of the primary conditions is to free Sevan from these netted fences. You go, walk along the shore, and you see that there is a construction. The constructions must be cleared, and Lake Sevan must be returned to the citizens of Armenia...'. However, as in many matters, Pashinyan also deceived here.

Previously, the newspaper reported that in the administrative area of the village of Drax Tik in the Gegharkunik region, on 2060 sq. m of land belonging to the 'Sevan' National Park, a new villa has been under construction since 2019. Although the head of the Shoghakhat community, Suliko Shushanyan, granted Arman Hakobjan permission for planning in September 2019, he is building his luxurious villa in violation of urban planning norms.

Notably, Hakobjan is building his house under the same conditions, next to the villa of former police chief Vladimir Gasparyan. Romanos Petrosyan, when he was Minister of Environment, actively sought to demolish Gasparyan's villa but was unsuccessful. In fact, Gasparyan's villa should be demolished, but the revolutionary government has granted permission to Arman Hakobjan under the same conditions.

Furthermore, Arman Hakobjan is a significant player in construction in Artsakh and is also an active winner of state procurement competitions in Armenia, undertaking road repairs. He is a close associate of the MP Khachatur Sukiasyan from the My Step Alliance.
