Those Attacks are Suicide, Guterres Says
During a press conference in Tokyo, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that the attacks on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant are acts of suicide and must be stopped.
"Attacking the nuclear power plant is a suicidal act. We hope that it will end. At the same time, we would like the IAEA to gain access to the power plant. We hope it will be able to exercise its authority," Guterres said.
Earlier, Enerhodar authorities reported that Ukrainian forces had launched strikes against the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant from the Uragan MLRS on Sunday night, with missile debris falling approximately 400 meters from the operating power block of the plant.
