Azerbaijan Tightens the Noose, Says Tigran Abrahamyan
Considering the fact that the Armenian authorities have agreed to fulfill Azerbaijan's demand to withdraw mandatory military servicemen from Artsakh, Azerbaijan is tightening the noose by demanding complete disarmament. This was reported by National Assembly member Tigran Abrahamyan on his Facebook page.
"For several months now, Azerbaijan has been actively discussing the existence of 'illegal armed groups' operating in Artsakh, referring to the defense army, and warning of the need for 'counterterrorism operations.' While Azerbaijan was preparing the ground for the escalation of actions, the Armenian government was convincing the country that peace was inevitable, targeting those who spoke of possible escalations and military actions through its propaganda machinery and political majority. The Pashinyan regime has closed all possible avenues for survival and existence for Armenians, leading the country down a path of new adventures," Abrahamyan wrote.
